Faraway politicians consistently dictate our lives while showing open hostility toward Alberta. We pump massive wealth into the national economy just to get strangled by federal regulations. Alberta gives, and Ottawa simply takes.
Nancy believes we can't keep participating in a broken confederation that actively hurts our province. She champions a binding referendum on independence because leaving Canada is fast becoming our only viable option.
We need to cut the cord and finally take total control of our own constitutional future.
Immigration
Ottawa jammed up our schools and hospitals by mismanaging the borders with no regard for the infrastructure required to support the influx of people. Nancy demands exclusive provincial authority over our immigration numbers so we can build a system that actually benefits Albertans. She welcomes the skilled workers and qualified tradespeople who want to roll up their sleeves, contribute to the community and build a life here.
By shifting to a stricter merit-based model, we can seamlessly plug critical labour gaps. Nancy will carefully manage our immigration intake to create a system that directly strengthens the Alberta economy and our communities.
School Choice & Parental Rights
Bureaucrats and activist agendas have steadily crept into the classroom, stripping authority away from families. Parents inherently hold the primary responsibility for the upbringing and education of their children. Education must focus on foundational skills, and moms and dads must always hold the final veto on curriculum. Nancy will fight to ensure that parents remain the undisputed ultimate authority in their kids' lives.
Nancy advocates for properly funded community schools, expanded funding for independent charter options, and protecting the homeschooling community. She understands it's a balance that must be achieved for children and families to thrive. Nancy will fiercely protect educational choice from any form of provincial overreach.
Crime
Soft justice policies have turned rural Alberta into a dangerous playground for repeat, violent offenders who specifically target isolated properties because they know the nearest police detachment is miles away. Nancy demands a justice system that actually keeps dangerous predators behind bars instead of releasing them on bail. She will fight for properly resourced rural policing to get boots back on the ground immediately.
Nancy stands firmly behind property owners and the inherent instinct to protect one's family. She unapologetically defends your fundamental right to self-defence when you're forced to be the first responder on your own land.
